About the Vicksburg Area Chamber of Commerce
The Vicksburg Area Chamber of Commerce was formed in 2005. Our goal is to create a favorable, inviting environment for citizens, business, and industry. By working together for the common good, we promote the close-knit, high quality of life that has earned Vicksburg a reputation throughout the State.
Our Board of Directors is comprised of nine volunteer members who are residents or business owners in the Vicksburg area. Current board members are:

At 50 members plus, the Chamber is growing in size and maturing into an integral element of community life. The popular Summer Concerts in the Park series is a Chamber of Commerce production as well as the Annual Ice Festival and Chili Cook-off, featuring local Ice Artists, an Ice Fishing Derby and of course, Chili – prepared by some of the areas top restaurants.

- Publicity and exposure. As a member, you and your business will be listed in our
Member Directory, the Visitor’s Guide, on our website, and other Chamber communications. You will also have the opportunity to advertise in other special Chamber events and printings.
- Referrals. The Chamber is often contacted for business referrals. We will refer Member businesses as often as possible.
- Contacts. Meet new people and develop your business through networking.
- Discounts. The Chamber members enjoy a number of M2M (member to member) benefits, many in the form of discounts on goods and services. The Chamber also works our membership
to negotiate group pricing for needed products and services.
- Economic Growth & Development. The Chamber advocates on behalf of the business community and keeps you informed on issues affecting and involving our business districts.
Chamber Meetings
Regularly scheduled Chamber Meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the second Monday of the month and are limited to the Chamber Board Members and individuals with specific, pre-arranged agenda items.
Additionally there are four "Open" meetings held during the year. These meetings will be open to the public as well as the general membership of the Chamber, are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of the months of February, May, August & September.
Unless otherwise announced, all meetings are held at the Main Street Pub, 208 E Prairie Street, downtown Vicksburg.
Membership Fees
Membership Dues for the Vicksburg Area Chamber of Commerce are paid annually based on our OCT - SEP fiscal year. Initial membership dues are pro-rated from the first day of the month following membership approval to September 30.
