Who else, locally can help?
SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives), a 39 year-old national professional association sponsored by the SBA, which offers free, one-on-one technical managerial assistance for small business owners. It is comprised of retired executives or business owners who volunteer their time to give free advise based on their experience in the business world. The MI-SBTDC (Small Business & Technology Development Center) regional office, affiliated with the Northside Economic Potential Group (NEPG) and the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University is one of 12 offices statewide, providing services and support to the Michigan small business community in the areas of counsel, training, and research.
